Default Resident Evil Series/ Extinction

I'm confused after reading around but could someone verify for me that all of the resident evil Blu Ray Discs do indeed work w/ POwer DVD Ultra? I'm looking to buy the 3 disk set however I just wanted to be sure they work so i don't end up with another 3:10 to Yuma Flick not working.

Resident Evil and RE: Apocalypse work for me. I ordered RE: Extinction, still waiting for it to be delivered.

All three REs work fine for me. I don't have 3:10 to Yuma yet, whats the problem with that?

I was just visiting BestBuy today, and had the same thought. They didn't have the RE trilogy in stock but, I probably would've bought it.

After my visit to BestBuy, I trekked on over to the other BB, BlockBuster, where I thought I might rent RE3 to try it out for myself. Of course, my BlockBuster still had only 3 new BD releases in stock, and RE3 wasn't one of them... I considered renting 3:10 to Yuma on BD, then remembered all of the posts I've seen about it not working with PDVD.

Is it just me, or is BD playback on a PC (maybe even BD playback in general) somewhat frustrating at the moment? I could've spent $70+ today on a spur of the moment interest in viewing BD content but, what I was looking for wasn't available... I understand that I could order BD's and have them delivered within a few days but, what I'm talking about here is the convenience factor.

I ended up renting RE3 on SD DVD, because it was in stock, and it's what I wanted to watch today.

The only one of the three that I've tried is Extinction. I had to use the arrow and enter keys on my keyboard to navigate to...and execute the "play" button on the main menu; I couldn't use the mouse. However, the movie only played for 30 or 40 minutes and then locked up. I tried it a couple of times, and then gave up.

I've never had this powerdvd-lock-up problem before with any other movie (at least with those that actually play on powerdvd, unlike 310 to yuma). I read somewhere else on a forum thread (maybe here) where another person had the same problem as me with powerdvd and Extinction.

Once again, if/when I ever hear of a patch for powerdvd, I'll let everyone here know, and please do the same for me.

Regards,

Dave

I just wanted to be sure, so went back and watched it again. I do notice jerky video every once in awhile, but no freezes. The only BD I have that freezes is Sunshine. Damn these 1.1 discs, err, nevermind that .... damn cyberlinks slow updating.
