Blu-ray fan from Singapore - Blu-ray Forum

Just wanted to say hi. Been a Blu Ray fan ever since i bought my PS3 a year ago. I don't have alot of blu rays as i believe in only buying movies that i like. So far I have 12 and i can say i'm very happy with my purchases. Go Blu!!

Sad thing is that few shops in Singapore are bringing in Blu Ray. And those that actually have Blu Ray, would bring in new titles a month late. Still waiting for the Rock to come. I cant use credit card so stuff like amazon is out for me.

Good news though, Blu Ray occupies 2 shelfs while just 1 for HD DVD.

welcome. I am Indonesian and ex-singaporean (lost it 3 years ago)
our countries has slow uptake of BD. Indonesians regard BD expensive. (4 times the price of DVD)

BD is the only format available in Indonesia. no HD DVD

Well, BD is twice the price of DVDs here.
