Smile Another New Blu-Ray fan here

Just wanted to say hi to everyone, as I have finally picked a side and purchased a 40GB PS3. I love it!

Why did I wait so long oh well better late than never.

The Warner announcement is what made up my mind. HD-DVD just give up already!

By boss who is very pro HD-DVD calls me a Blu-Ologist (Blu-Ray + Scientologist, that where he got the name)

I'm not a scientologist, but I must say I like the name!

Looking forward to watching more and more high def movies and playing cool games!

Blu-Ray Rules!!!!!!!!

Post Quick question

I know my boss will soon eat his words! I can't wait.

I am just wondering if it is difficult changing the PS3 hard drive to a bigger one?

Changing the drive is one thing but how do you get the OS on the new drive?

Is it a laptop drive?

Congrats, BD is the only way to go for hi-def movies man. You made the correct choice. You will love the format and what it is capable of doing.

Welcome GMAN.
I am also new to Blu-Ray and this site. Both are excellent.
I love my PS3, and I also love checking out this site. It has a lot of friendly, helpful people.

Blu is the future!!

Welcome...If you do a search in the forum, you should find either links and/or instructions for changing your hard drive. Also, the Playstation Network site has instructions and maybe a video (I saw a video somewhere). It looks pretty easy.

All I know is that when I first got a DVD player, I bought no more than 5 movies during the first 3 months I had it. As for my Blu-ray player, within 2 months I already had 20 movies. "It's not an addiction, I can quit anytime I want... I just choose not to."
