Default 1080/24p?????

Ok I have a sony kdl46w3000 lcd tv. I just bought a ps3. I put in the spider man disk and my tv says it is 1080/24p. Is that good??????????? I am looking to get the absolute best quality overall with this tv. Any thoughts?
