Smile New to Forum but not to Blu

Hey guys! I am new to the forum and just wanted to drop in and say hi and talk a little about myself and how I turned blu. It was a few years ago when I was a Sony supporter (still am) who loved the PS2 and everything playstation for that matter. I picked up a Playstation Magazine years back and it had an early article about the future format that Sony will be using for their PS3... I was shocked to see the specs and the capabilities of this so called "blu-ray" disc. I became so intrigued that I continued to follow it until the PS3 was released and blu-ray went into the hands of consumers. At first I was put off by the price and was kind of confused as to why a similar Hi-def format was competing, and at this point I did not know if blu-ray would have a future with all the Sony and Playstation bashing. It was not until I did more research and looked into Blu-ray.com did everything finally made more sense. Blu-ray is backed by so many more studios and retailers! How could HDDVD even compete?! I should have listened to my gut feelings and instinct all along. I am now a proud owner of a 60gb PS3 and well over 14 blu-ray movies. When I was on the fence between blu and HDDVD, you Blu people seem to be more understanding and wise and all knowing compared to the blatant ignorant HDDVD fanboys and delirious MS Xbots. *shudders* every time I read a post from a DUDDER it made me feel like I had lost a couple of brain cells. So, thats my story... I feel very at home here in this blu-camp and just hope I can fit in with you cool cats.
