I'm pleasantly surprised this made its way onto BluRay! SO happy.
I never ever saw it listed for showing on tv and only saw it from the DVDR from Sony. I think it sat in my amazon.com basket for years as a VHS before I finally purchased it as a DVDR. It's a great movie, loved it more than I ever thought I would.

I noticed today that my pre-order for this at DeepDiscount changed the release date from 3/26 to 5/7. Via Vision's preorder page says 4/28 now.

Yes, the entire March slate got delayed, something COVID-related apparently.

Saw the announcement today, speak of the devil!

KL/Scorpion made no mention mention of a new transfer, so I guess all releases are using MGM's HD master then.

Just received my copy. Looks really nice in real life.
The movie itself looks great, I can't wait to watch it again!

IMO:

PQ:7.4/10
AQ:7.8
extras:5/10
movie:6/10

Its staggering how much this has in common with somewhere in time, though I like the latter a lot more. Thats not to say this isn't an enjoyable romantic flick, it is, and it has the appeal of lindsay wagner, who was/is a lovely woman. Marc singer had that annoying habit that also Hasselhoff had, of losing some shirt buttons to expose their chest. Its cringy from a modern perspective but other than that the guy plays his part competently. anyway who pays attention to him when there's lindsay wagner next to him (well apparently I do )

I always like to talk about the score so Ill say that these romantic time traveling movies need a good, melodic theme, and Glenn Paxton creates one catchy enough, though obviously he's not John barry....

EDIT: forgot to mention, there's an easter egg, the isolated score

Haven't yet watched my copy of Via Vision's release (as part of the Imprint line). I'm sure I've seen on either La La Land Records or Screen Archives, a CD music score album for Somewhere in Time. Haven't seen one for The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan, but I haven't thought to look for it. But it's something I can check for when I next check for any CD music score albums I might be interested in getting.

Ive got so many versions of barry's score, but sadly I stopped collecting film scores a few years ago after I passed the 8.000 film scores, but I reckon this was never released on a separated form, though like I said, there's an isolated score track in the imprint version.

That's an impressive-sounding film scores collection you've got. I used to collect them regularly, but than just stopped. More recently, have got the odd CD music score title (there are around a handful of titles I'd still like to get).

I lost passion , and frankly listening to entire scores of one hour long can be a bit repetitive and boring, unless the scores are truly exceptional and can keep your interest for every track, something that rarely happens. I thought there was no point in keep buying scores just to listen to 1 track or because I wanted to have every title from a specific composer.

I do think I got every Morricone ever released though (which are in the thousands including compilations), but Morricone is my favorite composer of all time, the man was a freakin genius.
