Default Something funny i realized

Despite Sweeny Todd being released exclusively on hd dvd in america, blu-ray will sell more copies of this movie, because WB owns rights in the rest of the world. Next time you hear a dudster claim they have Sweeney Todd in their line up, remind him which format is going to sell more copies.

Well by the time it's released here there is good chance all the studios will have made a blu-announcement.

I still don't know if I want to see this one. The last time I consented to sit through a musical it was Moulin Rouge. *shudder*

If they haven't gone Blu by that time, wouldn't it be funny if Blu-Ray imports of the movie sold more than the domestic HD DVD version?

True. Johnny Depp can't sing. Alan Rickman can't sing. Tim Burton shouldn't direct musicals. This is perhaps the most overrated film of the year, perhaps a tie with Eastern Promises. I had very high expectations for this movie and was very disappointed.

Of course there is probably no way we will find out unless Warner releases those numbers.
