Do u think once blu wins the battle that they will sponscer or make there own tv?? I saw that they came out with a camcorder but it would be sick if they came out with a tv or maby even like a samsung blu ray edition??

you mean like a tv with a built in blu-ray drive? that would be cool im sure its possible since they did that with vhs and dvd

in that case i would have to say no like for instance toshiba makes tvs so it wouldnt be like blu-ray special edition or hd-dvd special edition just by a company that makes tvs normally

You do know that Blu-ray is not a single company right? Blu-ray was developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association, a group of companies representing consumer electronics, computer hardware, and motion picture production. The standard is covered by several patents belonging to different companies. I don't think the BDA will ever put out a TV since a lot of the companies involved make their own TVs. DVD wouldn't make a special edition TV would it?

id like a blu ray setting on my tv just like you get a games setting on samsung
