No resolution tweak.
Game ran 1872p Checkerboard on PS4 Pro. So this new update unlocks the Framerate to Target 60. I remember the game felt a little stuttery in sections at 30. Should be a decent upgrade. Downloading... ![]() |

Follow up
Game looks good in Resolution Mode. People who only saw this game on PS4 should be happy. Have played in Resolution Mode on both PS4 Pro & One X consoles. Xbox One X had the better graphics. Wasn’t just pixel counts. Settings were equivalent to High on PC where Pro was sitting around Medium. Framerate is steady at 60. If I could choose between PS5 & XSX though, XSX would be the winner here until we get a Native PS5 app with the better PC specs. |

Was a solid game, definitely recommended if you liked the ‘Tomb’ part of Tomb Raider, and especially the puzzle element of which there are a lot. I did it all 100% plus all the DLC’s so won’t be replaying it which is a shame as this game definitely deserved the 60fps boost.

I'm happy they put out this update for it as I had been wanting to play the game again as I didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped to when I played it the first time on my Xbox One X. Part of it was my own fault for trying to rush through the latter part of the game so I could start playing something else, but I had been planning on playing it again at some point and it seems waiting has paid off. |

Watching that video and seeing Lara climbing walls as they're falling apart is normal in that game, but I can only imagine how much strength and effort it takes to go from a bottom rung on the wall to leap vertically from only a arm held rung up another 6 feet up to the top rung above. She has to be in amazing shape to pull that off consistently every time.
It reminds me of those obstacle course shows, like American Ninja and the Salmon ladder where you have to use the pole to vault yourself up from the prior lower rung. A lot of the best athletes lose their grip first before anything else. If Lara hurt one of her hands, game over I bet if it was real life. |

The main village annoyed me. The game gives you loads of outfits and loads of weapons but then you spend so much time stuck in and around this village where there are constant restrictions on what weapons you can use and what outfits you can wear. The game felt like a big downgrade from Rise for me.
