It's about freaking time. Sad that Dracula isn't included, but I'm sure that'll come.

Sweet!

This show was a lot better than I expected once I actually sat down and started watching it properly on DVD, but I never got to see the last two seasons.

I kinda remember not liking this show when it was first airing. The animation style started with the Men In Black cartoon, that was cancelled and used for Jackie Chan Adventures, which was then cancelled and used for this cartoon. And while the animation itself wasn't so bad, I remember that it was the designs that looked crappy to me. The Joker looked really stupid if I'm recalling him correctly.

But I'll give it a try if this set is affordable enough...

Oh, hey! I've purchased every other Batman animated series that's been released on Blu-ray, so I'll pick this one up to. I own the DVDs.

Nice surprise. Even though it’s aimed at younger viewers there’s some nice pulls from Batman lore.

The Dracula standalone feature should’ve been included. Sure it’s a little dumb and repeated the Alucard gag….but it has vampiric Joker let loose in a blood bank…let that sink in…

Finally! Shame about them not throwing in The Batman vs Dracula but that's probably not far behind. Hopefully they use the widescreen episodes. I don't know why they wouldn't, but after the STAS errors anything's possible I guess.

I remember really liking this show back in the day. Sure, it wasn't as great as Batman TAS, but I loved the heavier emphasis on detective work and action as an alternative to just copying TAS's more character-focused episodes. And it did have a killer season one opening theme. Hell, I even liked the themes for the later seasons, albeit not as much.

Now if only we could get a Jackie Chan Adventures Complete Set...

What’s wrong with Superman: TAS? I can’t even find the thread.

There's some commentary tracks that were on the DVD's that aren't on the Blu-rays

Are there any more Batman animated shows to release on BD after this one? If not I guess we will be waiting for either Batman The Animated Series to hit 4K UHD next or maybe the new Batman animated series in the works for HBO Max to hit BD?

I personally liked the last two seasons the best. Robin and the Justice League show up in the last two seasons, although not Wonder Woman, which I always thought was silly. Still, I enjoyed it!

Yeah! They got The Edge from U2 to do it.

Maybe hindsight will change your feelings? I won't say it's my favorite designs for a Batman show, but I enjoyed it way more than some other shows that came after it.

Yeah, I'm still surprised they let the vampire Joker go as far as they did in the film. Strangely enough, he's one of my favorite versions of the Joker to date.

I too was surprised the film wasn't part of this set or at least announced next to it in a separate release. Hold on to the DVD just a little longer...

It was clearly trying to be as different from B:TAS, but that's Ok. Once they got their footing, it was a great show.

Agreed about Jackie Chan Adventures. I guess some seasons are on DVD, but not all of them. It seems confusing to me and I'd rather just a get a "Complete Series" release on blu-ray at this point.

I never could watch it. Whenever I saw it on TV, I found it gross looking and wished they'd air the 1990s series instead.
