Default Burned BD-RE No Audio

Hi:

I burned a HD movie to a Sony BD-RE using a Lite-On 2X burner and the Cyberlink software.

The movie looks great, but there's no audio! Is there something I'm missing? Do I need to extract the audio track an place it in another file or something?

Thanks!

LN

What was the source file? What was the audio format?

Thanks for replying.

The file's properties are thus:

Type: MPEG-2
Original duration: 00:16:58:25
Bitrate: 18.45 Mbps
Resolution: 1920x1080
Frame rate: 29.97 fps
Aspect Ratio: 16:9

Type: Dolby Digital
Sample rate: 48kHz
Bitrate: 256Kbps
Channel: Stereo

The Cyberlink software I used converted the file to an m2t or somesuch then burned it to the disc... hope this helps!

I'd say you dont have an AC3 decoder present or it's corrupted/conflicting.

LankyNibs,

I forgot to ask you where did you play it. PC or stand alone BD player?

But anyway, I have one suggestion.

I also have Lite-On BD burner that came with Cyberlink software. I tried it couple times, and then ditched it. I would recomend to invest $100 dollars into Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6+ with HD pack. I bought it and couldn't be more happier.

For a lot of information check out this thread, espacially from page 30:

I played the movie on both a pc burner and a standalone player . No sound from either.
