I really wish this would get some kind of release. I had it on VHS. Fun little action-alien movie.

There was no place in the OP that mentioned discussions of his movies. The thread title is "Robert Forster on Blu-ray!" and that is what I posted, in case people that read the title wanted to see the Blu-rays and not a bunch of DVDs and titles not on Blu-ray.

Sorry for trying to post something relevant to the thread title!
Really love your snarky comment.

Maybe Robert Forster discussion thread would be a better title.

Funnily enough I was watching interviews with Forster about Jackie Brown on YouTube before coming over here and seeing this thread.

He was so grateful that opportunity came along, and I'm so happy for him...seemed like such a genuinely amazing guy, and he was so effortlessly superb as Max Cherry that I can't imagine any other actor playing him. I had no idea Tarantino had him read for the role of Joe in Reservoir Dos, that would have been very interesting.

My brother got me Walking the Edge, an 80s B-movie I'd never heard of until recently. While it was okay, Forster was his usually reliable self and carries it. I wish he had more than a cameo in Mulholland Drive.

But yes, all hail Robert Forster.

Sorry for trying to post something relevant to the thread title!
Really love your snarky comment.

Maybe Robert Forster discussion thread would be a better title.
This is a list of Robert Forster Movies & TV Shows on Blu-ray.
The secondary lists of DVDs and things that aren't released yet is so people can see what isn't on Blu-ray yet.
Discussions of what isn't on Blu-ray is what these type of threads usually consist of.

Another downside of that generic page is even though Robert Forster was only in ONE episode of The Simpsons EVERY single Simpsons Blu-ray & DVD is listed! Same as Breaking Bad and Tales From The Darkside.

I'm sorry if you thought I was snarky, I was just trying to keep it fun and light.

Default Polly Franklin, sends her regards.

The Lady In Red is one of my favorites.

But I missed out on the Crazy Mama / The Lady In Red Blu-ray.
Luckily I do have the DVD at least.

I think they are BOTH good enough to have stand alone releases!

More fun and light...
This may help with placement of new threads ("I'm sure everyone knows about that.")

• Blu-ray Movies - North America
Discuss Blu-ray movies, announcements, release dates, etc for the US and Canada.

• Movies
General discussion of movies, theatrical, box office, actors and actresses, etc.

Do you have an issue with all of the other actor/director on Blu-ray threads?

Just an issue with someone calling me out for posting a link that was very specific to the thread title. Saying everyone knows and the suggesting I post on another page is very insulting. Many people don't do or know how to search and have asked for links for many years throughout the forums. When OP said it was discussion for the actor provided location for the thread that is more appropriate. Did not go looking for other threads that said they were for Blu-rays of one actor/actress that included DVDs and Movies that are not on physical media. If you think I was out of line or my posts were not pertinent, feel free to report it to a Mod for interpretation. Did not post anything offensive.

I wasn't suggesting you post on another page, I was just pointing out that you (or anyone else) can't post on THAT page. It's NOT physically possible!
I was just doing it in a light, fun way. I'm sorry if you took it as an insult, it wasn't.

I didn't say you did, but I didn't post anything offensive either!

There are hundreds of these threads dedicated to a single person (Actors/Actresses/Directors/Writers) Somebody on Blu-ray! All list the Blu-rays that are available, and some offer secondary lists of the items that are NOT on Blu-ray YET! Because most of the discussion in these type of threads is about what isn't on Blu-ray yet. About what we want on Blu-ray. About what's upcoming on Blu-ray.

Here's a few examples:

Ingrid Bergman on Blu-ray
Humphrey Bogart on Blu-ray
George Roy Hill on Blu-ray
Alfred Hitchcock on Blu-ray
Christopher Lee On Blu-Ray
Carole Lombard on Blu-ray

Here's the index:

Actor / Actress / Director on Blu-ray Index Link List

Avalanche was a fun one I didn't see until a few years ago on MST3K. He's got a good-sized part in that one. Not a great film by any means but I did enjoy it when I saw it standalone without the MST3K jokes. I know him best from The Black Hole. It's always a nice surprise to see him pop up in a film I'm not expecting to see him in, like Dragon Wars or Supernova.

I love Robert Forster. If anyone hasn't seen the Jim Cummings film he did (which was his last) I can highly recommend checking it out, great movie.

Love these kind of threads here. Makes me want to check out more that I might not now of.

And I didn't realize how eclectic Robert's acting history was. I loved Vigilante and it's great he did work with Lustig a bit more.
And I gotta nab that Walking the Edge release since it looks close to that kind of work. Dingy and fun.

Plus I didn't know he was in the second Charlie's Angels film. Make that another reason to watch that one
