Default This is probably the PC gamer in me.

Would anyone else like to see some PC games make it over to the PS3? UT3, Oblivion, Orange Box are all good starts. I'd like to see some RTS games and some MMO's. Whats missing? We have keyboard and mouse support, a hard drive, internet, a disc capable of holding 50GB of info. All that's left is me playing a game on my 46" in my favorite recliner instead of hunched over looking at my 17" laptop.

Now I enjoy some console games, but so far there hasn't been many games that interested me at all. I'm looking forward to FF and Starwars though. I also notice that many games don't have much replay value (for $50-60) that isn't very good imo. I rented lair beat it in under a week and I played it maybe 2 nights for 2-3 hours. I hear heavenly sword and assassins creed are short as well?

Anyone have suggestions for games with good replay value?

Call of Duty 4 has good replay value if you are into the online multiplayer FPS thing. Burnout Paradise is pretty solid as well. I have logged over 50 hours on it since its release ten days ago, and I am at 80% completion. The multiplayer on that is really fun, if you have a handful of people who you actually know playing with you. Disable the EA Trax if you get that though, as they are terrible.

ok...lets take a look from another perspective...would you rather play a mediocre game for 20-30 hours...or a kick @$$ game for 8-10 hours...ahem..the answer should be the obvious one...nowadays tho games not only come with a one player campaign but after you beaten the one player campaign to death, theres an online mode where you can take it up another notch also. granted the games you are playing are one of the first on the ps3...but in another year...heck THIS year youll see some fine examples of bang for the buck on the ps3

Crysis is what I want. I stopped buying games for the PC and would love to see this on PS3.

RTS games also doont really due to well on consoles, Im sure Halo Wars might be an exception but i dont see alot of MMO's or RTS's coming out for consoles. I would love to see some more RTS Games myself though.

I'm waiting for GTA4, FFXIII, and GT5. All of the other games in these series I have played over and over many times and probably still haven't finished everything I could have.

To be honest I'm not going to spend my money a mediocre game or a short kick ass game.

Now MMO's and RTS haven't done well in the past, but simply having blue tooth keyboards and mice changes the story on that.

The only RTS I can think of that's in the pipe right now is Tom Clancy's End War. Though I've never been a fan of either genre you mention the more games on the market the better. As far as other games go ...I wouldn't mind seeing Crysis on PS3 (it sure is pretty on my PC @ 1920x1200) but aside from the graphics the game really isn't anything spectacular. What I'd rather see is a new IP for PS3 using CryEngine2 - highly optimized, of course, so we don't get frame rates jumping from the mid 40s down into the 20s.

If you have a big tv and surround sound like I do with my recliner, I love to sit back and play warhawk for hours!!

CTF is more fun then anything on PS3 right now!!

With surround sound its like your really in the war on a big tv!!

To be fair, Oblivion was a console ported over to the PC... But that's Bethesda for ya now .

There's hope, but well, it really looks like the markets are diverging and specializing. I really don't like playing RTSes on the consoles for instance .

Following NCSoft's complete acquisition of the City of Franchise, there's been talk circulating for a City of Heroes/Villains release on the PS3 as well.

1UP: We've heard that NCSoft's newest studio in California is dedicated both to maintaining the City of Heroes franchise and to working on PS3 development. So would it be a great leap to expect City of Heroes-related content on the PS3?

Chung: [laughs] I can't tell you specifically, but yes, we are reviewing all our titles. In my opinion, there are a number of titles in our portfolio that are really suitable for consoles, and City of Heroes is one of them. But we're looking at all of our products.
