Buy Shooter?

I found a BD version of Shooter at my local Borders and have a 30% off coupon that would bring it down to $24.49. Is it worth it? Is the movie that great or is there just a bunch of hype because it's hard to find? Thanks..

I liked it...good story and good action...if you get it for 24.49 and don't like it you can alway sell it and make your money back.

You should caught it by your teeth if i were you i will buy it blindly.

This is a damn movie and i want it badly but when Paramount deceived me i completely aborted and spend my money on another title.

Do you like seeing heads explode like melons?

There's quite a bit of that in this film. Can't remember any other film with so much of it. (I haven't seen the old Scanners movie though and I think they covered the subject in more detail.)

If you do like seeing heads explode like melons then this is a must have title.

Got to say that I did'nt particularly have that high a hopes for this film but went and got it because my chick wanted to see it and we both really enjoyed it.. not an all time classic but still a damn good popcorn flick. You should get it mate. 4 out of 5 from me.

This movie is your typical "pure adrenaline" type action flick. There's nothing deep or involving about the story. The old "government-bamboozled-the-expendable-Soldier-to-do-their-duty-work-and-cover-it-up" cliche is alive and well in this film. If you love nothing more than a good action flick with a high body count and big explosions, this movie is for you. But you have to take it for what it is, and not expect it to be Academy award winning material here. Is it worth it? Sure, why not.

I thought it was a good movie, especially if you like Snipers! PQ is not too bad for a Paramount title, a lot better than the Italian Job. Its worth the $24 and change.

Good Find That movie is going for anywere from 70 to 90 dollars online . It has turned into a collectors item for some reason I am glad I found one at Wal Mart for 24.00

It turned into a collectors item for the time being because if im correct it was one of the last BD's produced by Paramount. It's only a matter of time before it is back on Blu so I myself have decided to wait.

i thought the movie was awful, i just couldnt get into it,.. was glad i rented it, because it isnt worth buying.
