Wow, six 50GB lines. Good stuff.

3 million movies + PS/3 games. I wonder what the split is?

This is great progress, BUT, I'd sure like to know how things are going with Technicolor, Deluxe & Cinram.

I'd say 100%:0% because there's no BD games.

I meant it's all BD movies, since there is no games on blu-ray discs, I figure I misread the title II.e. I thought all 3 mln was bd discs and so on.

Really? I was really unaware. Which one? And why? No way today's game is anywhere near 25gb let alone 50.

It don't have to be at 25 gb, it just has to be above 9 to make it useful. Later of course game makers will take advantage of the additional space.

the games under 9gb will also be blu-ray.. All the games are packaged in blu-ray labeled cases (good move ).

Blu-ray is much more durable than DVD or HD-DVD thanks to the mandatory coating. And of course this is also done for security reasons. Possibly to the higher bandwidth as well.

Yes all games are on Blu Ray, thats why many of the haters were always saying that the PS3 games would cost $70-100. But alas, they are $59.99, just like XBox 360 DVD games. But of course the haters see no problem with charging that much for a DVD
