I'm going to try to avoid spoilers until the physical release. I expect a pretty pedestrian movie but these are hard movies to mess up.

I really liked the first one but I couldn't get into the sequel. This looks good, though.

I loved the first 2. I've never seen a Rocky movie. I'm hoping they'll release a box set of all 6 of them eventually, and then I'll get those and wait for a box set of Creeds.

This is Stallone's baby and he's not in it. He's the main reason why I loved the first 2. Easy hard pass for me on this one.

I think Stallone has said in interviews he doesn’t intend to watch Creed 3. If I was in his position I probably wouldn’t care to see it either

Same. I enjoyed him in the first two as the mentor/trainer and that will be missed in this one so no thanks. I hope this does well of course! I just don't have any interest without the Balboa character on screen. I guess Stallone did such a good job creating the world of Rocky that for some of us that grew up watching Rocky movies, it's going to be hard to view one without, you know....Rocky. Pass for me.

It was obvious from the ending of part II that the Rocky story was finished.

I agree. As much of a fan as I am of Rocky, the ending scene of Creed II was like Rocky was giving Creed the keys to the franchise.

I greatly enjoyed the sixth Rocky movie and I'm glad that Rocky's story was extended in this spin off. Now with the third film in this Creed franchise, I believe it is time to see the Creed series stand on its own. Hopefully Creed III is good movie.

I'm 100% satisfied with Rocky's story through out all of these films, I don't feel as if I'm missing anything because they aren't extending Rocky's story in Creed III.

100% agree. If you think about it, he had two great send offs. I feel the way Rockys character ended in Rocky Balboa was perfect. His character continuing in Creed is a bonus. A great bonus at that. I very much look forward to Creed 3. I'm excited to see Adonis handle things on his own.

Yeah just got back, it’s a solid sequel but not as good as the 1st 2. If they do a 4 I hope Coogler directs.
