Default Kingdom of Heaven: I got an Error Message

So I was trying to watch Kingdom of Heaven tonight and I got a message.

"This Video Cannot Be Played" (80029940)

Any idea why this happened?

I would assume a disk issue then. Is it brand new?

Turn off the PS3 or cold-boot it. Then try other BDs. Then try that disc.

What kind of HDMI cable are you using? It's a long shot, but I have seen cables be the culprit in certain home theater and computing situations.

Thir junk format? Alright, first off, use periods. Second, is your HDMI cable running through anything? Is it connected to a reciever or anything?

You might want to also do some research on DRM before saying that's the cause of your issues. I believe the thing you're blaming it on would be HDCP which has nothing to do with Blu-Ray and has been around since almost the beginning of HDMI. How old is your TV by the way? Maybe it's not HDCP compliant. Either way, I think you're getting HDCP and BD+ confused. BD+ would have no effect on your TV though. That's more for people trying to rip movies onto their computers.

But before you start saying Blu-Ray is a crap format, try solving the problems first. Don't just assume that the problems you're having are specifically related to a flaw of the format. If they were, don't you think more people would be complaining about the same issue that you're complaining about?

Damn this is your 1st post. You could at least see if someone would lay some wisdom on you before you call it a junk format.

I think the guy is frustrated because he's electronically inept. He blames the format when it's an operator error.
