not a bad price (€35,-) might buy it closer to release date.

I wonder if there will be a stand alone release of #3, given other two already out.

I guess this isn't coming out; My order hasn't had any movement and it's showing as OOS on Amazon FR now. The FNAC listing was also pulled and goes to an error page.

I would expect Paramount to do a UHD trilogy boxset for USA soon. My guess is they won't split it up because to get the third film you have to buy the boxset.

The 3rd film is so painful I haven't even watched the copy from my Blu ray set yet, I'd say there is zero chance seeing that released on its own. I would upgrade to a UHD trilogy if they remedy the sloppyness of the current UHD encodes. I got the Blu ray set for $10 it's a fantastic value the first two films look great upscaled.

They’re picking the wrong hill to die on if they want people to pick up the trilogy set to get the third film….

I'm going to sit this one out and see what happens with the 4th movie and buy the 4-movie set instead

The better strategy for Paramount is to do a standard release first of the third film on 4K UHD and than do a complete boxset with the fourth film added. Maybe a MOD 4K UHD release for the third film like they did with Kiss The Girls. Pretty sure Kino Lorber would love to get their hands on Beverly Hills Cop 3 and do a UHD release if Paramount won't.

There's a 4th film forthcoming? People think III is a POS, imagine a 2020's reboot or even a direct sequel. I've yet to see a long after-the-fact sequel that I enjoyed as much as the original, then again, those are rare. Psycho II is the only one I can think of that I thought was as enjoyable as the original (talking about sequels, not remakes). I enjoyed BHC III. Of course it's nowhere near as good as the original but it was still fun. Lightning is hard to catch in a bottle twice (or thrice in this case).

People need to stop going on reputation.

Everyone I know who's actually seen BHCIII at the very least considered it "ok". Personally I think it's a pretty fun film. Sure to most it's not going to be on the level of the first two, but it's still decent. There are far far worst sequels out there than this one.

It's from the guy that directed two Apple shorts/ads

But... it's produced again by Bruckheimer, just like the first 2 movies.
It will also feature
[Show spoiler]Serge, Rosewood, Taggart and euh Paul Reiser

I just hope it will be a better sequel than Coming 2 America, which I found forgettable.

Good to see some love for BHC3. I agree. It's a fun movie. Sure it not as good as the 1st and 2nd films but even the second film isn't as good as the 1st. Glad I love all three of them and I hope the fourth film is as good the first three films in the trilogy. Of course the first film is a classic like Coming To America.

After seeing Coming2America I wouldn't count on the 4th movie being good let alone great.
For me there is only one Coming to America movie. The other one was never made. Just a horrible nightmare that I saw it.

I'll say one thing. Because it was made in the 90's it's actually pretty good. If it had been made now it would have been dire.

To be honest I find the standard of the 90's to be higher than this decade. A mediocre 90's film is generally a ton more enjoyable to me than a mediocre film made now a days, but maybe that's just me.

Coming to America 2 wasn't just mediocre, it was practically an offense to film itself in my view. It was just that bad...

What's surprising is that this is after Eddie Murphy had a really strong comeback into comedy with Dolemite is My Name the year before. That movie was really fun (wish we'd get a home release of it). I can only assume Coming to America 2 must have been a paycheck job. I hope Beverly Hills Cop 4 gets the Dolemite is My Name level of care.
