We should continue buy-a-thons - Blu-ray Forum

Victory is not 100% there, the numbers are slowly falling, maybe some retailers will promote HD DVD to counteract their competitors.

I suggested this the other day. There seems to be some minor support for one the week of March 11.

I do think that many of us were supporting these events during the war. Now that it is coming to a close, what would be the point??

I for one am very happy with my collection and buy movies as they come out and have done the buy-athons, but I am set with what I want for catalog titles. Now, I have at least 20 movies that are annouced as coming out that I will pick up and will continue to buy, just not going to buy movies that I don't feel I will watch multiple times.

I though do think that those who want to go forth, please do.

If they meet us halfway with some deals, of course!

If the retailers keep pounding us down with list prices, no way.

Without some deals or upcoming releases I am done buying for now in the last month I have gotten 86 BDs let someone lse buy them until new stuff comes out.

It's expensive enough trying to keep up with new releases whilst working on a back log of titles!

I think we all buy what we can, when we can.

I am in for ID4 that week. otherwise I am just looking for deals.
