Default Marketing BD hardware to J6P (HTIB's make sense)

As the long format war continues (BD vs. DVD, BD vs. download) BD needs to start appealing to the average home movie watcher, who most likely is listening to the movie through the TV speakers.

I think most enthusiasts will admit that AQ is at least equal in importance as PQ and much more important thatn special features. Given this, it surprises me that there is not more of push to market BD HTIB's, even wireless ones, or even some of the surround sound emulators instead of simple standalone players and consoles that need additional hardware to truly enjoy BD movies.

Anyone who has been there (yours truly included) knows that even an inexpensive HTIB made DVD's far superior than simply using the TV speakers.

I just really think that every man, woman and child who watches 3:10 to Yuma at home needs to feel surrounded by cows and have steam locomotive go chugging on past the living room. Once you go surround, you can never go back.
