Network connections on BD players - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know what these may be for? i've heard online content, like movie trailers and movie trivia, but I have not found a movie that uses the network connection for anything. Anyone know of any movies that use this feature?

i havent come across any blu-rays with online content myself or just didnt look hard enough, but i would think they would be also used to upgrade firmware for your blu-ray player...same w/ PS3 which you can update thru the internet, not to mention the PS3 also lets you download trailers/demos to the harddrive from the playstation store
