The TV show is only in HD.

4K disc's increased storage capacity was used to fit more HD episodes per disc.

Sony better not skip on an individual release. It was bad enough that they put a genre picture that has a cult following directed by a legend, ONLY in a collection of random movies that are made up of dramas.

Locked into an expensive set, soon to be sold out (or is?), loosy copies on ebay already going ham on prices. I've seen the TV discs sell for $60 on their own (lol), not gonna lie that's a sweet discount for people who bought this if they can part with those discs. I absolutely hate movie sets that aren't franchise box sets, so they wouldn't bait me on one of these even if there were two films I wanted. Hopefully it comes out for everyone eventually. Doubt the series will ever be included again on UHD anywhere.

Breaking up this set to sell individuals seems blasphemous to me. I wouldn't feel right displaying a neutered set on my shelf. Are people putting anything in those empty slots? lol

Yeah, I carry a bit more love for these sets, even with that movies I may not be as interested in or haven’t seen before. I never had seen His Girl Friday and it was quite good. Saw Kramer v Kramer once eons ago, it’s also quite good.

But Starman is on another level for me. This release is the end all, it’s a great presentation all around. I love this set, as much as the other 3. I wouldn’t dream of selling them off individually.
