"pcm multi ch hdmi" - Blu-ray Forum

That is what is shown on my receiver when I am using my ps3. Is that the Correct and BEST audio option? Thanks

yea, I'm guessing you have your ps3 hooked up through hdmi, with this you get the lossless audio, and it's decoded by the ps3 and sent as a pcm signal.

Yeah-- it's the same thing I've got. When you play some games on the hard drive it will show up at Dolby. But yes-- I believe PCM is the best.

Some games are PCM.. most Sony game are.. (Resistance is..)
