Xbox360's biggest title is advertised to run at 720p. So what does it mean when an "all-HD" console's flagship game isn't capable of the minimum standards for HD?

why just against halo i wonder. plenty of other 360 and ps3 games arent 720p either, let alone 1080p

cod4 is also rendered below 720p.

Because the gaming consoles seriously underestimated the processing power necessary to render a nice looking 3d environment in 1080p.

For a PC equivilant, you're typically looking at somethign akin to a dual-GPU current gen solution to get Crysis playing nice.

The article seems to suggest that if they win against Halo's developers, that legal precedent will be set and they can pursue false advertising claims against other games afterwards.

What a ridiculous lawsuit. So I guess people suddenly stopped enjoying Halo and COD4 after they found out it wasnt "true HD". People will do anything for attention and money.

Ugh another stupid lawsuit. Man people are annoying as soon as anything happens there's a lawsuit about it...
