Default Bioshock 2 Developer Seeks Level Designer With PS3 Experience

http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/2870.html

Rumors of 2K's award-winning FPS, Bioshock, appearing on the PlayStation 3 have died out...only to be replaced by rumors of the sequel coming to Sony's console. We've heard in the past that Microsoft may have dumped a big chunk of change to keep the series exclusive to the Xbox 360, but recent evidence may indicate a multi-console release for Bioshock 2.

Officially, no platforms have been announced by newly formed development house 2K Marin for the sequel, and that only adds fuel to the fire. Plus, it seems 2K Marin is looking for industry professionals who have experience with both the PS3 and Wii... If you check out their jobs page, you'll see they're seeking a programmer with "experience developing for next-generation game consoles (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)," and the listing for level designer specifically states- "PlayStation 3 experience is required." Of course, this has sparked plenty of debate. Is this obvious PS3 project Bioshock 2? And if it's not, what is it? Are they really planning to bring the game to the Wii, too, or is that some other title?

As of now, Bioshock 2 is scheduled to arrive some time during the third quarter of 2009, so there's plenty of time to learn more. The evidence is pretty clear, though, so let's all hope that one of the most anticipated sequels of the generation will hit the PS3!

I read about the news last night but this could give us hopes in the coming future. 2K could really prove a point by putting this on the PS3.
