lets see what a real developer has to say

Wow Tecmo is really sticking it to everyone else.

When I see how games like Armored Core 4 and Splinter Cell aren't as good on the PS3 I know it's not a hardware limitation. It's laziness on the developers part where it's easier for them to remove something than spend time to make it right.

It sickens me.

I thought so too, but assassin's creed was in development for the PS3 first. That's the only positive I see.

Not liking the news that I see the next Splinter Cell game as a 360 exclusive. (Gamespot, for starters.)

That means, of course, that the other platforms will get it 6-12 months after the 360 does. That's all exclusive really means these days unless it's a first party software title.

That one still kind of puzzles me, though. I just don't see any point in shunning the PS3.

Tecmo gets it, just like Insomniac. Right on!

This has been a gripe of mine for some time. Too many companies out there that jst want the easy dollar. 360 is just as easy as a PC, so why learn something new and try to progress when you can use all the same tricks and still get paid?

I think more developers should think like Tecmo, good work ethic.

Great way to screw your fanbase MS. This is one of my biggest gripes with MS. just look at the release dates for the original xbox for the rest of '07. They do not support the older console any more. sorry a little off topic but they alredy screwed the fan base with this"elite" modle

I don't think people should be looking at which platform a game is better on WHEN it's not even a particularly impressive game to begin with.

Ninja Gaiden is great, Sigma should be greater!

And Bingo was his name-o. M$ is all about screwing the end user and I have NO doubt that they will release a new console within the next 4-5 years once the PS3 hits its stride. Once they do it will be the same old M$ B.S.

Their history of strong arm tactics in the PC industry alone was enough to scare me away from any of their XBox products.

Sadly, right now, the cost of developing games for next gen consoles is such that companies can't justify spending all that money on a PS3 only version when they will get so little in return - but offer it on 360 too and they more than treble their potential income. It's apparently why GTA4 is on both consoles on launch day; Rockstar wouldn't have made enough money back to release it on PS3 first, they need the additional 360 sales to make the game profitable.

Even Sony have said they won't buy up any exclusives until next year when the PS3 market is big enough to make it worthwhile. It's just a fact of being an early adopter.

Ninja Gaiden in 1080p at 60fps sold me instantly. If the Dead or Alive series ever comes to PS3, I'm selling off my 360.

That's right on the money! Everyone knows the PS3's time is coming and soon (including MS).
