Being released by Sony gives me some hope (unlike the Friends disaster from WB). Anyone know how Sony might handle this? Hopefully OAR (none of that forced widescreen crap).

Wish they didn’t wait so long on bringing it to blu.

It could have been a much nicer box set.
This is gonna be basic cases/discs only.

But as long as the transfers are complete, uncut and original ratio it will be worthwhile

To reiterate (and expand on) my comment on the news article....

Damn, I just got hit in the head by that flying pig. What's next? Disney fixes the Buffy remaster and releases that? I've seen the majority of the show but it finished when I was in the 4th grade so it was just never anything on my radar, but I'm always happy for a TV show to get a BD release, especially one people have been wanting forever. Hope they don't mess it up.

Just throwing it out there... while we're at it, Sony, let's get Mad About You out as well.

I love this show, but given the fact Sony is giving us 4K as well, I cannot help but be a little worried. I have a feeling this will be a direct port of the disaster we see on Netflix. I really hope I am wrong!
