Default Mill Creek's Too Cool for School Collection

I really wish more of the films in this set would get upgraded to bluray. Of all of them, I think it's only Tomboy and My Tutor (both from Scorpion), and My Chauffeur (from Vinegar Syndrome) that have made the jump to HD. A number of these titles feel right up the alley of a label like VS, or even MVD Rewind. I'd even love Mill Creek to re-release this whole set on bluray. A number of these titles aren't even streaming. The fact that they're all Crown International titles and some of them have received blu-ray releases makes me think that there likely aren't any rights issues holding them up, though incidentally, given that CIP is long-defunct, who owns these titles now?

^ Scorpion also did The Beach Girls and The Pom Pom Girls, both long out of print.

Ah, good to know! Yeah, it seems like any of these that have had blu-ray upgrades are pretty old releases.

Jocks and Hunk are probably the most of interest to me, but I'd be happy to see any of these get (re)released!

I have read that the entire Crown library is on moratorium and is up for sale. This occurred after the death of the founder, or some such.

I also love collections like Too Cool for School and understand the desire to see them on Blu-ray. These are classics that you want to watch in good quality. It is a pity that the rights to many films remain scattered among different studios. This makes it challenging to re-release them. I particularly like My Chauffeur and Tomboy. It would be great if more Crown International Pictures films were re-released. They have so many atmospheric films that deserve a new life. I'm interested in film analysis and often look for free publications. I must uncover more insights to understand how my favorite films' plots and symbolism work. This adds a new level of pleasure to the viewing experience.
