Default This didn't take long....

Just had a look over at Play.com to see if they'd put any disclaimers about HD-DVD's warning potential buyers that it's soon to be non-existent (something like Amazon.com have done) when I found this. It made me laugh

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...k/Product.html

So there stock of HD-DVD players are now advertised as DVD upscalers that can also play HD-DVD's too. Just too funny for words, or is that just me?

Oh, and they've also dropped the price from £250 to £80.

That's a hefty discount.

Not enough in my opinion. They should either be free, or they should pay us to take them off their hands. As compensation for making the format-war last as long as it did
