Default wtf are these hd-dvd guys talking about

I consider myself a "stay ahead of the curve" tech guy. Hd tv came out. I bought it. crappy not even 1080p came out. I bought that. Real 1080p came out. And I now have that. I fail to see how anyone who loves leaps in tech. And always wants the best technology has to offer, could be in favor of HD-DVD. I've seen hd-dvd. Its awsome. And in the one catagory of movie playback, will probly always be as good as Blu-Ray. With some movies being better in HD, and some in Blu. Last I checked, by next year if not sooner both will be playing in 1080p. Never the less. Blu-Ray tech is better. Their is absolutly no arguing that fact. Higher capacity. Higher bitrate. HD guys will even consede that fact. All they can say is "its to expensive. Damages to easly." I love it when they bring up the fact that the disks are to expensive. This because "the factories had to be overhauled". "Thin protective coating has to be put on". Now I don't know about you guys, but I could care less how much the disk costs the maker to make. As long as I'm not paying a lot more in the stores. In other words. I've been to the stores lately, and blu-ray disk are going for just as cheap as HD. Some movies are more, some are less. Now how about the "fact" that they damage easly. Or easlyer. This is HD reaching for any lifeline they can. Its completely BS. They already solved that problem with the "expensive harder disk layer" that infact isn't hardly any more expensive to the consumer.
I can narrow these HD-DVD guys down to 2 words. PLAYER HATERS! It's funny how half of the HD guys say the only reason they hate Blu-ray is because of Sony. Which is misinformed in itself, because Blu-Ray isn't Sony. (but thats another issue)
So HD-DVD. Enjoy your time in the light. Cause as soon as players come down a little, and people realize that the easly damaged disk is BS, and they can already see that the movies are pretty much the same price. There
will be no reason to ever get buy a disk with lower storage capacity, and slower bit rate.
