Saw this during the preview of Gamescon 2025, and it looks cool. I really hope there's a digital version for a smaller game like this as Limited Run Games are very unreliable for actually being able to secure a disc version from their very limited run of copies that are pre-orders sold out the second it goes live when I'm probably normally asleep during those hours. Pre orders should never sell out unless the factory can't handle that many by the release date. Then expand more copies after that.

"Coming soon" could be the end of 2025 is my guess. No release date shown.
That's cool. The style of the art is exactly what I want to see for a Filimation style He-Man game. Skeletor will look like the cartoon and hopefully is the main boss at the end of the game. This one appeared out of nowhere it seemed. Screenshot 2025-08-20 095647.jpg Screenshot 2025-08-20 100111.jpg This shot is right out of a Golden Axe game, where Tyris Flare uses her magic bottles to summon her fire Dragon to roast the enemies onscreen. Here, Teela, He-Man's sister, summons the dragon (from the animated series) and torches the screen. He-Man Masters of the Universe Dragon Pearl could be the next Golden Axe beat 'em up game. Cool. ![]() |

Also, anyone remember Golden Axe: Beast Rider? Not exactly a high point in the series... |

I would love to see stuff like Kidd Video, Galaxy High, Jaycee and The Wheeled Warriors, Pirates of Dark Water, She-Ra(80's), Silverhawkes, SWAT Kats, The Real Ghostbusters, Thundercats(classic and 2011), etc. get some (new) video games as well.

Thanks. I was thinking Man At Arms is the father of Teela. But King Randor (spelling) is Prince Adam's Father. Teela is Adam's friend. You're right. Quote:

I hope they use music and sound effects from the original TV series.

How many more of these “Nostalgia Beat ‘em Ups” can they make? My brother and I tried the Power Rangers one last year and, although it’s not particularly bad, I haven’t felt any desire to play it again since we finished it on the first night. That GI Joe one doesn’t seem interesting in any way (doesn’t help that I’ve never cared much for GI Joe but still…) Shredder’s Revenge is the exception but most of them don’t seem to have any unique ideas or depth and they all have the same overdone pixel look.
What, are they going to do a Jem and The Holograms Beat ‘em Up next? |

I've been waiting for a Golden Axe style game, so this is the first one so far with Masters He-Man, which matches the theme well with swords and magic of Eternia characters. They also said this breaks away from those other games in that sense with a different paced combat. What is also nice is they didn't turn the characters into something not consistent with the original style. These actually closely resemble the Filmation cartoon characters, which is great. With GI Joe and Karate Kid, as well as that prior Double Dragon reboot, they turn the characters into cute cartoons instead of their original styles of the series/games. Turtles, that looks good though and mostly consistent with the art. Haven't tried Power Rangers and just learned about it this week. That got an update where they said it improved the game. |

I am glad the beat'em ups are making a comeback. Though I would like to see more game variety with 80's and 90's cartoon based games. He-Man, Thundercats, Silverhawkes, She-Ra work as beat'um ups. Though G.I. Joe and SWAT Kats would work better as 2D shooters or 2D platformers. Also some RPGs would be awesome.
