Well, thanks to previous help and awesome advice from the good people on this forum, I have now got myself a decent HD TV, receiver and speakers. Now it's a waiting game untill I can get my mits on a Blu-ray player... In the meantime I have been madly reading reviews and following the discussion on this forum. From what I understand (and am only a rookie at this) the Panasonic DMP-BD10 has the ability to output native 1080p transfers from discs where as the Samsung can only read 1080i then upscale it to 1080p. My question is ; does anyone know what way the PS3 does it? Reckon if it processes like the panny then the PS3 (with the remote) could be a great way to get into Blu-ray for a cheaper price...and sooner than waiting for the dedicated players to come out here too!!
