Fracture?? - Blu-ray Forum

this is probably my first time posting on this board but I am not new to the board. Have been watching, reading threads and have been a blu-ray supporter since July of last year.

Now to my question...I was watching "fracture" on Cinemax HD tonight and wondered why this one hasn't been released on Blu yet....

my guess is that New Line before they went Blu exclusive were not releasing anything on HD until they released Hairspray, Rush Hour 3 and Pans Labryinth.

any other guesses?

Fracture will be a definite buy for me when/if it comes out on Hi Def

yes I would say that Fracture looks great in HD.

Watched Pan's Labyrinth last night was awestruck by the gorgeous picture

despite the controversial move of using DNR to reduce grain. Still deserved a 5 star rating.

I liked Fracture as well, but the ending kinda dissapointed me a bit.

Looked good on blu as well but didnt notice as i was engulfed in the film

yes, I actually have been looking for this at the local Best Buy. Can't find it. Guess i'll have to order it. Waiting for the price to go down on it though. Glad to see this one out on Blu.

"Fracture" Blu-ray is on sale for $9.00 this week at Ultimate Electronics stores, on their "2 for $18" shelf... I picked up a copy, never saw it before...

I know this is a fairly old thread, but here goes:

I have the Australian release of this, and I'm surprised on that disc that all the audio tracks are set at an extremely low default volume -- to the point where I have to boost the volume considerably, way beyond any other disc I own, just to make the dialogue intelligible. It's annoying.

The AUS disc seems to have all the same contents as the US one, in the same codecs and at the same data rates, and this site's review actually praises the audio, so I'm puzzled; is the audio flagging different between the AUS and US releases?

I like the film enough that I would be willing to double-dip, if that would solve the issue. Can anyone who has the US release please tell me: does your disc have the same volume issue?
