preordering from amazon - Blu-ray Forum

if you preorder a movie from amazon when do you get charged, rigth away or when it ships? also if my free prime trial runs out on the 14th and i order a movie before that with the free two day shipping that ships on the 18th, will i still get the free shipping?

You get charged when the movie is shipped out. As for the prime and delivery, i think if you preorder it and you have prime and then it expires it should still get delivered with the 2 day free shipping. Im not sure though read this has worked for others.

Amazon Prime lasts for a whole year and its $79 and then after a year goes by then they take out another $79 for next year's unless you tell them not to. with it you get free shipping and faster delivery

Yeah I was wondering that too. My free trial of prime expires on march 11 and I want to pre order No Country for Old Men but that's the day it comes out. So would I still get the free 2-day shipping?
