Of course Microsoft is going to push the format the want to succeed and that is and always has been down-loads. The backing of HD DVD was a stalling tac and one that did not work. Down-loads are a long way off from what most industry people are saying. I also think that the "masses" will choose to still buy a "disc" and have it in their hands vs. down-loading.

I'm not that worried. Anything that MS meddles in tends to fail. A recent example would be, um . . . HD-DVD?

They are better off when they buy or steal someone else's idea and just reap the profits from it.
