I love COD4...play it daily....GOLDENEYE for N64 was what introduced me to FPS...ahh the good ol 4 square split screen...GOLDEN GUN FTW!

First of all, how are you going to put games on the list that you know most of us haven't even played? Anybody who knows anything on these forums know enough not to buy an Xbox. Second of all, I chose Rainbow Six because I like tactical shooters. Can't wait for part two next week.

COD 4 for PS3. Resistance Fall Of Man is a close 2nd.

I think COD4 takes this one. The game is still in its glory and may not be knocked off till Resistance 2 comes around (at least for PS3 owners).

If you took an un-biased poll (i.e. not one on a blu-ray/PS3 forum), Halo 3 would most likely be 2nd place.

To follow aaron's lead, I'll say the best single-player FPS (IMO) is a tie between Crysis and Bioshock. Maybe an edge to Bioshock since more people can play it and it is a dedicated single player FPS

Resistance! Played that game for long time when it came out, then jumped over to Halo 3, which was my favorite until last week, when I started Resistance all over again!!

crysis has already been announced by ea for PS3. it is not coming to 360 yay!

Start the bile, that is what I chose, hands down the best ever, with Goldeneye a close second! HALO 1, 2 & 3!

Halo Wars is an RTS not a FPS though.

And the first was my point. Halo was originally intended an RTS.

And with regards to C&C, I dunno, will see. Personally I like C&C for the story, but gameplay wise, SupCom is a bit better.
