I like that they occupy less space, I managed to bring 20 BDs on my carry-on w/o thouble .

The only thing I might like different is, sometimes, I wish the interior part inside the cover would be clear too so the inside cover art woud look in full color, but that would need a two tone plastic job and as most DVD cases are black/dark grey, the inner transparent blue is an extra now anyway.

I like the Sony/Disney cases with the optional lock-tab, and the BD logo is much better than the "painted on" ones.

I like the fact they are thinner. However it's just a marketing ploy. I now have to buy twice as many to fill up the movie shelf. I just wish they wouldn't stick so much of that "security" tape over them

This was the only disapointment for me. The packaging for Blu-Ray and HD-DVD feels cheap, like I'm getting a bootleg. I much prefer the DVD cases. We'll see what the Blu-Ray camp does as far as packaging for SEs. The Kingdom of Heaven 4disc DVD set, which cost me less the the Blu-Ray, has the most gorgeous packaging ever. Ditto on the Lord of The Rings extends and the Jurassic Park Franchise set. Even basic DVDs with slip covers look better in my opinion. I'd be sad to see that sort of style go away in favor of small, sleek, and uniform looking packaging.

Talking I hope they never change them

I have some dvd shelves that look like New york City skyline because of all the different heights and widths for special editions and what not. I hope every Blu Ray disc stays the same forever no matter what it is. The Uniformed looks real good as mine is 45 wide and growing.
