Default Fios v. Cablevision

Who offers ultimate HD experience?
I think fiber optics is not available everywhere and satellite is not an option for those of us living in the buildings but if it were, who offers more HD programs, crisp broadcasting and best DVR?

I have optimum which offers about 25 HD channels and HD DVR service (for $14 a months). I have no complaints but some of the HD channels are really bad (not any better than SD), while others like Home and Garden TV and Equator are amazing.
With fiber optics now available, I was wondering if I should switch (they are bit cheaper too)
