Default WHITE PS3 headed our way?

Hey folks- I have come across several articles talking about these new PS3s headed our way- personally I have been holding off on buying a PS3 as my roomate has a blu-ray player, but now that a white looks like it's gonna be released, I will be purchasing one! I wanna know your thoughts: Will a White PS3 actually be coming, and also, are the cooler running chips (65nm I think)available in all the new PS3s?

Here's a link to an article http://kotaku.com/362127/white-ps3-due-in-march

There's no doubt in my mind that the white version of the PS3 is on it's way. The PS3 currently rules the entertainment industry and will go further. I'm really looking forward to the silver PS3; and that will be in US in the future as well.

I was at gamestop today and the guy who worked there said he knows some one that works at sony and that the white PS3 is just rumors since they are saying the bundel with Metal Gear Solid would be white but it will actually be a black PS3.

If they can increase the sales more with different colors, then why not? Look at Apple for example...

white, yellow, blue, etc...bring it all on!

I'd go buy a white one today if they had them. Does anyone know what chipset they are on? what did it start out at-90nm, 65nm, and when will the next change be?

none of the ps3's made now use 90. they're all using 65 now, and they'll move to 45 by years end

How about one that changes colors depending on the mood of the user (kind of like the 'mood rings' of years ago). So if you feel like silver today, silver it is and perhaps tomorrow is going to be a really blue day, so be it.
