Default WhooOOO hooo!! I trained my wife to buy Blu-ray!

After *****ing me out that I don't get any movies that might appeal to her she told me that she bought a dvd along with a bunch of various and sundry items at Target. Cringing at the idea that she bought a terrible chick-flick on dvd I started putting away the items and to my surprise I find Becoming Jane on blu-ray.

My wife is the kind of person that will order VOD cause its convenient rather than going to get a dvd. I cry when I see the damn FiosTv bill every month.Even if she did see a difference in PQ, she doesn't care. She DVRs standard def versions even though there is HDs of the same broadcast. Hell I don't care cause it saves me hard drive space. Anyway she actually made an effort to look at the blu-ray section. HOLY CRAP, she cared. I know that the Target near us doesn't have a large selection either, she must have skipped all the sd-dvds, bypassed the HD-DVD and looked at the limited selection. And instead of saying screw it there is nothing good she picked something up.

I found Becoming Jane quite enjoyable. Hell, I even almost got teary eyed towards the end.

My first passthrough on the thread titles on the main page read something like this:

"I traded my wife to buy blu-ray!"

Two of the best chick flicks ever. Maybe she would like these two action packed tear jerkers on your anniversary?

My wife has also started buying BDs. She really only buys movies she's interested in, but that's okay, now I don't have to.

She bought Becoming Jane and Across the Universe a few weeks ago, and she's getting August Rush and Dan In Real Life tomorrow.
