Help! new OPPO Dv-980 H wont output sacd multichannel

So I got one of the Oppo DV-980H to connect to my integra DTC 9.8 prepro.
I had a pioneer elite DV-45A sacd/dvda universal player which died. I bought the unit based on research on this forum as well as other forums it was highly recomended

I have the Oppo player connected with the supplied HDMI cable. the problem is it will only play SACD/DVDA in 2 channel and it sounds like plain jane cd.
my PS3 will do sacd in multi channel and sounds good however it wont play my dvda in high rez ( I have about 30 discs)

heres what i have the player set at:

SACD Priority: Multi-channel
DVD Audio Mode: DVD audio
downmix set to 5.1 with all channels set as small
digital output set to raw
sacd digital output is set to DSD
HDMI output is set to Auto (3 settings 1.auto 2. off or 3. LPCM)
ive checked the settings on the integra and have them set the same as the PS3.
I have the HDMI setup at 1080p. the upconverting looks crappy compared with my ps3 ( I bought the unit for its sacd/dvda playback) and also I cant progam the remote into my universal remote that came with the integra. I also tried the analong out RCA cables same thing only 2 channels
if i cant figure this out im gonna have to send the unit back as it isnt fullfilling my needs.

Never mind i figured it out... aparently the HDMI monitor out on my pre/pro has 3 settings. main sub or off. It has to be set to off for the sacd to be output in high rez.

well glad you figured it out. i tried looking through the manual online but got a headache

thanks for trying its apreciated. Im gonna run an S-video cable from the dvd player straight to the tv that way i can use the DVD menus when watching a dvda
