Question on I Robot - Blu-ray Forum

I'm new to this forum and need some help.
I bought I Robot today and didn't open it because I was reading that it's audio is DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. I know my bluray player doesn't support that nor does my Yamaha receiver. If I play it, will it use the regular DTS? I asked the guys at Best Buy and they didn't know. Could someone tell me before I open the disc?

Yes, it will play using the regular DTS core track @ 1.5mbps. You're good.

Rip the plastic off and shove it in! You are gonna LOVE it!

5.1 sound quality will blow you away and the PQ is total eye candy. So is Will Smith in the shower at the beginning of the movie!

In defense of some of the members here, I don't really think it matters nor would it be any of your business.

As for the movie itself, don't hestitate to watch it. It's my favorite BD right now and the PQ alone makes this a must own in almost any collection.

gah! i can't wait!! I ordered my copy today along with 'I Am Legend'. Both blu's with free shipping was a cool $48 on Amazon compared to the $60 plus dollars it would have cost if I had bought them from Best Buy or CC. Now I just have to wait a few days =/ Still worth it in IMO

Sucks. I was looking forward to watching it on release day but my PS3 died 3 days before (it's out for warranty replacement). Somebody call the waaaaaaaaaambulance...

Now there's a surprise. It might be worth going back to the Magnolia section to ask such a question if your BB has one. Not that I'm overly impressed by anyone in that section between the three stores I visit, but they should at least know that.

How about making a request to amazon to reduce the price on the below titles like they did for I am Legend ?

1) I,Robot - 19.99
2) ID4 - 19.99
3) Ice Age - 17.99

If they do this I will instantly add these titles to my cart.

Got my copy yesterday at Walmart. It was a good price. Soon as I got home it was in the player. Thought it was razor sharp and the colors jumped off the screen. The wife says it looks the same as the dvd. What does she know.
