Default AVP Unrated Two-Pack worth the $$$?

I really want to get the two pack edition, but it says it's $50 on Amazon and the DVD two-pack is $25. I have no interest in buying the DVD version, so is the Blu-ray release really worth the money?

I think you answered your own question. If you want it and you have no interest in the DVD version, the blu-ray version is worth it. If $50 is just too much, just get the single. BTW, I think AvP (the one already released) is supposed to be re-released again later in the year. I can't remember the details on what they're adding/changing or whatever though. If that's the case, it might be better to go with just AvP Requiem so you can pick up the new version of AvP later on. Try to verify that info though. I think it was a news topic here, I just don't remember the details at the moment.

I'll be waiting for the re-release of AVP, unless of course the box set has the newer edition, which I very much doubt, so then I'll get them as singles.

it wont work on your blu-ray player since you live in the UK unless you got a Region A Blu-Ray player import but like i mentioned about the u.s. version of avp box set it will not include the newer version of number 1 just the older version

If you care about fluff like BD-Live and PiP, wait for the AVP coming later this year.

I would wait for the First. I got it cheap at 15$.. but there's quite a lot of Macroblocking in that MPEG2 encode. THe new version will probably be a 35mbits AVC encode like Fox do right now...

you have your likes and dislike. for the first AVP I personally wouldn't bother getting it. i didn't like the movie. the second however, it is worth owning on BD. 50 Bucks is too much for a good movie plus an extremely poorly done movie. i would rather pay the 40 bucks fox charges people on their BD releases.
