Default blu-ray double dip = bad?

so i sitting here thinking when studio's double dip or even triple dip on dvd it's never really fazed me b/c it was usually some extra crap i didnt need or a few extra minutes thay added......but now with blu-ray and it's superb video quality this double dipping or even triple might just suck for us, for instance i bought the new harry potter and the first one (Stone), now that they are re-releasing them in the coffee book thing does that mean that the video has been remastered? if so then think about it, every time they "dip" they might sell it as a "remastered version" meaning we will all want it b/c it will look better, which basically sucks b/c we will be buying the same movie over and over b/c it will look better.............
do you think this will happen?

is this happening with the potter films?

if and when it happens will you re-buy the movie?

I think it's pretty obvious which films will be double dipped. The ones which on standard DVD had a ton of extras but which on Blu ray had NONE.

These Coffee table book releases will almost certainly be the same transfers.

I would consider it, but it would have to be a hell of an upgrade over the original release.

Only if there is a huge PQ/AQ improvement. I don't really care about the Extras.

Expect FOX and Warner to commence their double dips in another 6 months.

Get it right the first time. There are too many films out there. Just get it right the first time.
