Changed my mind, not selling PS3. - Blu-ray Forum

After spending some time last night using my PS3 and thinking earlier that I might sell it I realized I have to be Fing crazy! I don't even know what i was thinking. The PS3 is hands down the best piece of A/V or gaming gear I have EVER purchased and believe me I have owned a few things.

The PS3 is so versatile it's insane. This thing can multitask so much, a kickass BD player. great game machines and man many other things. It's like an entertainment hub.

The thing that really changed my mind was when I went to Walmart last night and was looking in the videogame section. I just had the sense that the PS3 is on the verge of becoming the "it" thing to have. The PS3 game's case was stocked full of good looking games, and looks to be expanding. The I seen it, the preorder cases for GTAIV sitting on the shelf. The idea of me not being able to play GTAIV in just over a month was too much to take. The I was downloading trailer for movies and games in hi-def form the PSN and thought to myself "do I really want to get rid of this right now just to get a stand alone?" hell no!

Anyways I'm back on board to rock out with PS3. No more mind changing. I might eventually get a stand alone, but the PS3 is here to stay.

yeah I'm glad I came to my senses too. The Ps3 has such a great lineup coming out that even if the PS3 didn't play BD movies it woudl STILL be the machine to beat at thi spoint IMO. The XBOX 360 I feel is gonna get royaled kicked in the ass the last 8 months of this year by the PS3... and it should.

Those are true words right there. I'm happy to see the PS3 really beginning to hit its stride. Of course I loved mine from day 1.

You seem to be all over the place lately. Weren't you getting sick of gaming...then you loved the PS3...then you wanted to sell it...now you want to keep it? Correct me if I'm thinking of someone else.

Nice thing about the PS3 is you can hate gaming and it's still a good machine to have.

Can't say that about the Wii or the 360. Oh wait. If you're a big fan of DVDs, then the 360 has another use. Kind of an expensive DVD player though.

I'm selling my PS3 in a month or two (got it in March this year, prob sell for $350 on Craigslist), but that'll be simply to buy the MGS4 bundle in June as long as it's $499 USD.

If I get that MGS4 bundle, I'll probably actually feel satisfied with my PS3 instead of always frowning at it for all its flaws. Hopefully by that time they'll have fixed their awful marketplace and I can force out even a small smile towards it.

totally keep it bro trust me! I sold my 60gb ps3 from launch about 3 weeks ago and bought an BDP S300, i realized what a mistake I had made so i brought that biatch back yesterday and got a ps3 again

best decision ever, the ps3 is the best blu ray play hands down!
