Question length of cable

Does the length of your hdmi affect your signal? i.e 25ft vs 100ft

yes hdmi will degrade over long length but it also depends on your components and how well the can send and receive the signal anything under about 15feet and i wouldn't worry about it, but if you need to go longer up to about 100 feet i would recommend the http://www.bluejeanscable.com series-1 hdmi cable it has been tested to about 125feet, i use one at 40feet and don't have any problems. i would say up to about 75-100 feet use the series-1 anything over that you would need to look into an hdmi extender with signal repeater
