Default ? on hooking up a 2nd sub to Onk 805

Hello all, I have a spair Acoustic Research subwoofer collecting dust ever since I bought my Infinity PS-12 last year I was wondering if I could hook up the AR sub to my Onkyo 805 along with the PS-12 and if so,what would be the best way to do it? Thanks

get a "Y" rca cable with one male on one end and two females on the other. That is if the other sub your adding is self powered.

There's two ways: buy or make a Y cable to plug one end into your 805 and two cables, one for each sub. Or, if the subs have the facility, daisy chain them (go from one sub to the other). The former is likely to be better (why don't more receivers and pre/pros have two sub outputs?), but to be honest, I'd not do either because your subs don't match.

will the addition of the 2nd sub give me more bass? or do you think it might cut decrease the power, both subs are powered, I only want to do it if it will add more LFE.

Don't do it!
Any pro will tell you that multiple subs in the same system should be iidentical. You will never be able to properly balance non-identical subs.
