Panny BD50 Still coming out May 1st? - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone know if the BD50 is till coming out in 3 weeks? I really hope so, I want that thing badly.

I work at Sears in electronics and about two/three weeks ago our Panasonic rep was in. I asked her about this and she told me it would be shipping the first week in May to retailers. Please take this with a grain of salt... reps arent always on top of things. Especially at the retail level.

Will be picking this one up by August...saving up all the summer money for one big A/V spending spree come the start of my 5th and final year of my major to celebrate.

haha sweet. I need to get the Panny BD50 and some sourroud sound speakers. I have a reciever but i am using 5 speakers from my CD player lol! so...i would like to get some decent ones this summer after school is done.

I feel you, I'm using this Samsung HTiB - before it I didn't even have surround sound - and it's...alright...for now. Looking forward to getting some decent JBL or Klipsch speaker sets, an Onkyo 805, and that wonderful Panasonic 50.
