Smile Panny BD50 WILL output 7.1 PCM audio!

I talked to Alan at Panasonic tech support today and and he confirmed that if you:
1. Set the player to CUSTOM
2. Set "Secondary"(he admitted that's a bad name) for it to OFF.
The DMO-BD50 wil output 7.1 PCM!
He also said the release will be "any day now"!
Hooray!

Just making sure you realize that 7.1 out is only via HDMI. The BD50 does not have 7.1 analog outputs (only 5.1 just like the BD30). Even the current BD30 can do 7.1 via HDMI so that is no big news...
