Can I make a music CD via ps3? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm a new ps3 owner and just started downloading music to flash and then on to the HDD and love the sound coming from the speakers. Is there software or does the dashboard allow me to put those mp3's onto a CD? Thanks

Nope, the PS3 doesn't copy/burn CDs.

You can use Windows Media Player or Nero to burn your CDs.

The reason behind this is the ps3 does not have have a cd burner in which to burn a cd.

Now even if you managed to jerry rig a cd burner via usb im not sure if the ps3 would recognize it, you might ask sony to add that in a firmware, drivers for external cd burners.
